Greg Hardy's appeal concludes without a decision
The Dallas Cowboys are going to have to wait a little longer to find out if defensive end Greg Hardy's 10-game suspension will be reduced.
Hardy's appeal lasted for seven hours Wednesday and there was no timetable as to when a decision would be reached, according to Andrew Brandt of ESPN.
After playing in only one game last season while dealing with a domestic violence issue, Hardy was suspended 10 games for violating the personal conduct policy in April. Hardy had a domestic violence charge dismissed after his accuser wouldn't take part in a jury trial, but the league obviously concluded he was guilty of wrongdoing.
As Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk points out, Hardy's team is reportedly contending that he should have been punished under the old personal conduct policy instead of the new one.
The Cowboys certainly didn't expect that they wouldn't have Hardy available for 10 games when they signed him this offseason and they will be anxiously awaiting the results of the appeal, whenever that may be.
