Report: Giants discuss acquiring Kam Chancellor with Seahawks
The New York Giants have discussed acquiring safety Kam Chancellor with the Seattle Seahawks, according to Jordan Raanan of NJ.com.
Raanan cites a source that describes the talks between the two clubs as preliminary in nature.
With Chancellor holding out for a more lucrative contract than the four-year, $28-million deal he signed in 2013 and the Giants in serious need of help at safety, a deal could make sense for both teams.

Though no terms have been released, speculation would put the price tag on Chancellor at potentially two high draft picks.
Despite drafting Landon Collins at the top of the second round in this year's draft, the Giants have lost four safeties to injury in the offseason, including Nat Berhe, Bennett Jackson, and rookie fifth-rounder Mykkele Thompson.
