Buffalo Bills kicker Dan Carpenter's job may not be safe after all.

The team worked out veteran kickers Billy Cundiff and Alex Henery on Monday, according to Jeremy Fowler and Field Yates of ESPN, who reports that head coach Rex Ryan has been frustrated with Carpenter.

After initially making the 53-man roster, Carpenter is now officially on notice after he missed three field goals in the preseason.

Cundiff was released by the Cleveland Browns in December 2014 after he injured his knee in the midst of a subpar season.

Henery last kicked with the Detroit Lions in 2014 and was cut after missing three field goals in a loss to the Bills.
