Chicago Blackhawks center Andrew Desjardins will be out four-to-six weeks nursing a lower-body injury, the club announced Monday.
The news further hinders the Blackhawks' bottom-six, as Chicago's attack is prominently based on its top-two lines.
In 77 games last season, Desjardins, 30, recorded eight goals and five assists.
