Ducks coach Boudreau won't confirm Game 5 starter: 'Heck, we still have Bobkov!'
After 20-year-old goaltender John Gibson's historic shutout performance in Game 4 on Saturday night, Ducks head coach wouldn't confirm the identity of his Game 5 starter. "Heck, we still have Bobkov," joked the Ducks head coach, referring to Ducks prospect Igor Bobkov - a goaltender who spent most of this season stopping pucks at the ECHL level.
Boudreau also elaborated on the reasoning behind giving Gibson the start on Saturday night:
Ducks Bruce also said it wouldn't have been fair to hold Gibson back and then if they lost tonight, ask him to play an elimination game.

On the identity of Anaheim's Game 5 starter, there's really no mystery. You can safely ignore Boudreau's hilarious Popovichian tongue-in-cheek, because Gibson will be starting on Monday night in Orange County.
