Lightning re-sign Tyler Johnson to 3-year deal
The Tampa Bay Lightning didn't waste any time avoiding restricted free agency with one of their budding young stars.
The 23-year-old Calder Trophy candidate will reportedly make $10 million over the three-year term.
In 82 games during his freshman campaign, the former Spokane Chief tied for the rookie lead in goals with 24 (with Colorado's Nathan MacKinnon), while adding 26 assists for 50 points.
