The Detroit Red Wings have officially extended backup goaltender Jonas Gustavsson with a one-year, $1.85 million contract according to MLive.com's Ansar Khan.
It's a modest raise for Gustavsson, who made $1.5 million in each of the past two seasons with the Red Wings.
In 36 appearances with the Red Wings between the regular season and the playoffs, Gustavsson has amassed a 18-9-5 win/loss record. Despite that impressive record, Gustavsson has consistently been among the worst regular NHL goaltenders in save percentage.
