The Philadelphia Flyers continue their attempts to find a new home for center Vincent Lecavalier, but according to Randy Miller of NJ.com, "the Flyers likely will have to eat half of Lecavalier's remaining salary and cap hit in a five-year, $22.5 million contract that has four seasons to go."
The Ottawa Senators are believed to be out of the running after having signed David Legwand to a two-year deal Friday.
Miller, however, cites the Nashville Predators and Florida Panthers remain a possible trade partners.
Lecavalier, 34, scored 20 goals this past season, but managed only 37 total points, his lowest total since 2001-02.
