Blue Jackets extend Dubinsky: Johansen tweets 'congrats to our 2nd line center'
The Columbus Blue Jackets signed Brandon Dubinsky to a six-year, $35-million contract extension Friday, and teammate Ryan Johansen took to Twitter on Saturday night to offer his congratulations.

The interesting thing here is the team's self-proclaimed (and well-deserved) first-line center is currently without a contract, as Johansen and the Blue Jackets are embroiled in a seemingly contentious contract negotiation.
Johansen's tweet, however, would suggest that he envisions being part of a strong 1-2 punch with Dubinsky down the middle for the Blue Jackets for the foreseeable future; and Columbus hockey fans are certainly hoping it's just a matter of time before talks between the two sides come to a Dubinsky-esque conclusion.
