The Carolina Hurricanes may have suffered another serious loss to their roster after Jeff Skinner left Sunday's game against the Washington Capitals with a possible concussion.
Skinner has missed 35 games over the last three seasons due to injuries, including at least one concussion. Carolina is already reeling from the loss of Jordan Staal, who is expected to miss half the season with a broken leg.
Skinner will not return to the preseason contest.
