Bruins' Patrice Bergeron records 500th career point ... for real this time

Patrice Bergeron recorded his 500th career point on Saturday night when he assisted on a Carl Soderberg power-play goal in the first period of Boston's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

It was the second time in as many weeks that Bergeron hit 500 career points. An assist he appeared to record last weekend in a game against the Buffalo Sabres was ultimately taken away from the two-way ace upon review.

This time it's clear that Bergeron's milestone assist will stand.
