Maple Leafs' Winnik stretchered off ice after hard fall, appears to avoid serious injury

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Daniel Winnik was stretchered off the ice early in Thursday's game against the Colorado Avalanche.
The recipient of a seemingly clean body check from defenseman Jan Hejda, Winnik fell hard and awkwardly to the ice.
Winnik appeared to be conscious and able to move his hands prior to being taken off the ice.

Winnik was later seen walking around the locker room and didn't appear to be headed to the hospital for further evaluation.
