Report: Eastern Conference teams calling Kings about Jordan Nolan
The Los Angeles Kings are fielding long-distance calls on forward Jordan Nolan.
On Tuesday's edition of Insider Trading on TSN, Bob McKenzie said, "... a multitude of teams in the Eastern Conference, especially those who want to get bigger and stronger on the bottom half of their forward line have significant interest and have been calling the LA Kings about Jordan Nolan."
Nolan has been healthy-scratched and playing few minutes for the Kings this season. That's something opposing teams are looking at.
"The reason teams are so interested in Nolan is because they see him mostly sitting on the sidelines, he's not playing much," McKenzie said.
Of course, every team has their price and the Kings will look to get a defenseman back in a potential deal.
"They're not anxious to give up Jordan Nolan but for the right team at the right time with the right defenseman, it's possible," McKenzie concluded.
In 13 games this season, Nolan has not yet registered a point.
