Blue Jackets, Canadiens' Twitter accounts mock Hockeyy Insiderr
The world's most infamous and logographically redundant pretend hockey insider, who tweets out NHL trade market fiction from the Twitter handle @hockeyyinsiderr, has seen its fake influence diminish in recent years.
From its heyday in the summer of 2012, it's been mostly downhill for the leastt accuratee hockeyy insiderr in the businessss. Some of which has to do with Hockeyy Insiderr being partially doxxed as a likely teenager.
The hockeyy insiderr, though, had a big scoop to share on Wednesday:
Being told by #Oilers upper management source that the team is involved in "intense talks" w #Flyers #Habs #CBJ #LAKings. More to come...

Hey, wow, that's pretty much exactly what actual, reliable reporters like Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman have been told by actual, reliable sources. Well, except with a couple of big, rumor-hungry markets like Los Angeles and Philadelphia thrown in.
Rather than let it stand, the Columbus Blue Jackets decided to mock our misguided anti-hero:
. @HockeyyInsiderr great scoop, seriously pic.twitter.com/ONkZkqAvqO

The Canadiens got in on the action, too:
.@BlueJacketsNHL @HockeyyInsiderr Is it popcorn time? ^ER pic.twitter.com/BBUEZsqCri
— Canadiens Montréal (@CanadiensMTL) November 26, 2014
This is pretty good:
Being told by sources close to the @BlueJacketsNHL & @CanadiensMTL that popcorn is delicious

@BlueJacketsNHL @RobElbaz But has it been #CONFIRMED by @HockeyInsiderr? ^ER
— Canadiens Montréal (@CanadiensMTL) November 26, 2014
Well @hockeyyinsiderr, we'd suggest that you just got ownedd.
