Penguins' Comeau caps hat trick with OT winner against Maple Leafs

Blake Comeau blasted a point shot through traffic to lift the Pittsburgh Penguins over the Toronto Maple Leafs in overtime Wednesday, completing his second career hat trick.

Comeau's only other hat trick was in game against the Chicago Blackhawks on March 2, 2010. He got to work early against the Leafs, opening the scoring 26 seconds into the contest by knocking in a centering feed from Evgeni Malkin.

Comeau deflected a Chris Kuntiz shot past Maple Leafs netminder Jonathan Bernier in the second period to put the Penguins in front 3-2.

Penguins captain Sidney Crosby assisted on Comeau's overtime winner for his 800th career point, becoming the sixth-fastest player to hit the mark.
