Ducks' Perry suffers lower-body injury, will travel with team

Anaheim Ducks forward Corey Perry suffered a lower-body injury Friday against the Minnesota Wild, but it appears he will still join the team on their upcoming road trip.
The Ducks announced on their Twitter account that Perry's injury was not believed to be serious, but later deleted the tweet.
Contrary to our earlier tweet, there is no update on the status of Corey Perry.

Bruce Boudreau didn't have an update on Perry's status, but told Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register that the star winger would travel with the club to Winnipeg.
Perry is reportedly dealing with a knee injury, according to Helene Elliott of the Los Angeles Times.
