Canucks turning to Eddie Lack for 'scheduled' start

Don't call it a goalie controversy.

Vancouver Canucks netminder Eddie Lack will start Wednesday against the Dallas Stars, but head coach Willie Desjardins contends it was his plan all along - despite recent struggles in the defensive end.

Supposed starter Ryan Miller has been abysmal of late, allowing 14 goals on 86 shots in December while posting a 1-3-0 mark and a .837 save percentage.

Lack is 2-3-2 with a .911 save percentage in 10 games.
