While there's no cause for alarm quite yet, the Toronto Maple Leafs are being careful with Richard Panik.
Assistant coach Steve Spott said the forward won't play in Tampa Bay Monday for precautionary reasons after being on the receiving end of a hard open-ice hit the night before.
Panik has contributed seven goals and one assist since joining the club earlier this season.
