Stars' Eaves taken to hospital after being hit in the head by shot

Patrick Eaves left Friday's game between the Dallas Stars and the Florida Panthers late in the third period after he was hit in the head by a shot.

Eaves was taken to hospital for X-rays after the game, according to Mark Stepneski of the team's official website.
