Hurricanes GM: 'We are not moving Jordan Staal'

General manager Ron Francis has offered a definitive statement in regards to trade rumors involving forward Jordan Staal and the Pittsburgh Penguins that popped up over the weekend:
To put an end to speculation, Canes GM Ron Francis said, "We are not moving Jordan Staal."

Staal, who missed much of the season after a training camp injury, has recorded three goals and 11 assists in 22 games, and remains under contract through the 2018-19 season.
Despite the club's struggles, it appears Jordan and brother Eric Staal are still integral parts moving forward.
