Connor McDavid kept his franchise-record scoring streak alive with the first hat trick - and four-goal game - of his OHL career Wednesday against the Guelph Storm.
The Erie Otters captain and top draft prospect scored twice in the first period and twice in the third while adding two assists for a six-point performance - one shy of the franchise record for points in a game.
He skated through the entire Storm team without breaking stride before chipping the puck past Justin Nichols for his nicest goal of the contest.
