Brandon Dubinsky has flown back to Columbus and will not be available Thursday against the Vancouver Canucks, Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch reports.
The Columbus Blue Jackets have one more game remaining on their road trip after Thursday - a Saturday contest at Calgary which Dubinsky now appears likely to miss.
The exact nature of his upper-body injury remains unclear, but the Blue Jackets should divulge more information about Dubinsky's condition once he's evaluated by team doctors.
