The Vancouver Canucks scored a pair of empty-net goals in their 5-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday, but they wouldn't have any if it wasn't for some late-game heroics by Eddie Lack.
The Canucks netminder weathered a storm in the dying minutes of the contest, preserving Vancouver's slim lead until Henrik Sedin and Radim Vrbata could add some insurance.
Lack's best stop came with 1:03 remaining when he tracked Mark Scheifele across the slot and robbed the Jets forward with a glove save.

Lack finished with 28 saves as Vancouver posted its third consecutive win.
