Report: Panthers owner to speak to NHL about officiating during Saturday's loss
The Florida Panthers aren't happy with the referees and intend on letting the league know.
At issue is the way Saturday's game against the Montreal Canadiens ended, with a Panthers forward Vincent Trocheck in the penalty box in overtime on a high-sticking call.
Towards the end of regulation, however, defenseman Aaron Ekblad received a high-stick and lost part of his tooth, but no penalty was called on the play.
Because of this seeming inconsistency, Panthers owner Vincent Viola sees the need to speak up on behalf of his club:

The point dropped by losing in overtime could prove costly for the Panthers' playoff hopes, but Viola likely just wants his team get a fair shake.
