Flames' Hartley on schedule-maker: 'this guy has a flair for drama'
Rick Osentoski / USA Today
Calgary Flames head coach Bob Hartley was not kidding when he spoke about the intensity surrounding his team's final three games.
"I don't know who made the schedule but this guy has a flair for drama," Hartley told reporters Monday.
The Flames will close out their season with games against the Arizona Coyotes, the Los Angeles Kings, and the Winnipeg Jets.
The team finds itself third in the Pacific Division, but just barely. The Kings are just one point behind the Flames and have a game in hand. Meanwhile, the Jets sit just outside the playoffs, tied with the Kings with 92 points.
It's safe to say that if the Flames are keen on staying in third they will need to finish off the season strong.
