Canadiens' Therrien says Desharnais a possibility in Tampa

The Montreal Canadiens need all hands on deck.

After suffering a 6-2 loss in Game 2 of their second-round playoff series with the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sunday, the Canadiens need to win at least one game in their opponent's home building if they want to stay alive in the series.

Help could come in the form of forward David Desharnais, who was a last-minute scratch Sunday with the flu.

Canadiens head coach Michel Therrien said that Desharnais could possibly play in one of the two games in Tampa, despite a report released by the team Monday that said the forward would not make the trip.

Desharnais could fly on his own to Tampa and play, Therrien said. 

The 28-year-old, who recorded 48 points in 82 regular-season games, was replaced by Brian Flynn on Sunday.
