Rangers' Staal: 'We just couldn't find ways to get one behind (Bishop) tonight'

After pumping 10 goals past him the previous two games, Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Ben Bishop would not break in Game 5.

The New York Rangers peppered Bishop with 26 shots, but as defenseman Marc Staal reflected after the game, the team could not beat him.

"You have to find different ways to win hockey games. We just couldn't find ways to get one behind (Bishop) tonight," Staal told reporters.

Despite two mediocre performances entering Sunday, the 28-year-old took the shutout Sunday and joined former Lightning goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin as the only other goaltender in franchise history to post multiple playoff shutouts.

Bishop and the Lightning are now just one win away from reaching the Stanley Cup final for the first time since 2004, when the team captured its only Cup in franchise history.
