Report: Bruins hoping to re-sign Adam McQuaid

Don Sweeney likes what he sees in Adam McQuaid.
The unrestricted-free-agent defenseman is a player the new Boston Bruins general manager would like to re-sign, several sources have indicated to Joe Haggerty of CSN.
Sweeney said Friday he's made his intentions known to McQuaid's agent, who has expressed his client's strong desire to remain with the club.
Concurrently, it would appear fellow UFA defenseman Matt Bartkowski's time in Boston is coming to an end.
McQuaid appeared in only 63 games this past season, recording one goal, six assists, and a Corsi For rating of 49.5 at even strength.
