The Detroit Red Wings have signed one of their restricted free agents.

Winger Teemu Pulkkinen has agreed to terms on a one-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.

The deal is worth $735,000, reports Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press. She also notes Pulkkinen is now waiver-exempt, meaning he'll be in the NHL on a full-time basis in 2015-16.

The 23-year-old, who was drafted in the fourth round back in 2010, split last season between the Red Wings and Grand Rapids of the AHL.

In 34 NHL appearances, he's scored five goals and added three assists. However, Pulkkinen led the AHL in goal scoring this past season with 34, despite appearing in only 46 games.

Pulkkinen has averaged better than a point per game through 119 AHL contests, with 65 goals and 56 assists to his credit.
