Report: Bettman to be deposed in concussion lawsuit against the NHL

NHL commissioner Gary Bettman is set to be deposed Friday in New York City regarding the concussion lawsuit brought against the league by a group of former players, reports ESPN's Katie Strang.
The NHL was working assiduously to keep the commissioner off the stand, but its lawyers were overruled by a U.S. federal court judge in May.
Bettman will be tested by the representative team of 60 former players, who filed a class action lawsuit against the NHL for not doing enough to protect its employees from head injuries.
