Report: Canucks, Brandon Sutter working on multi-year extension

The Vancouver Canucks are reportedly working on a multi-year agreement with newly acquired middle-six forward Brandon Sutter.
Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reports there's still work to be done, but the sides are expected to reach a five-year agreement with an average annual value a shade under $4.4 million.
Sutter was acquired Tuesday in a trade that sent Nick Bonino and Adam Clendening to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The former first-round pick recorded 21 goals and 12 assists in 80 games for Pittsburgh last season - production that doesn't quite measure up to Bonino's - but he was also one of the team's more reliable penalty killers.
