The services of former Vancouver Canucks head coach John Tortorella are apparently not in very high demand.
No NHL club has requested permission from the Canucks to speak with Tortorella, reports Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch.
The 57-year-old was signed to a five-year, $10-million contract in May 2013, but was fired following his first season after the team failed to reach the postseason.
Tortorella has three years remaining on his contract and as such, any prospective teams need permission from the Canucks if they're interested in hiring him.
The 2004 Jack Adams Award winner as the league's best coach, will be behind the bench for Team USA at the 2016 World Cup of Hockey in Toronto.
