Jack Eichel is off and running.
The Buffalo Sabres' super rookie ignited the First Niagara Center crowd for the first time Thursday night, connecting with this calculated and downright nasty snipe in his NHL debut versus the Ottawa Senators.

Eichel's goal was all the Sabres could muster, as their comeback attempt fell short in a 2-1 loss.
He called it a special moment, but admitted that it's tough to enjoy given the result.
