Former NHL forward Derek Roy is heading to Switzerland after the 32-year-old signed a one-year contract with SC Bern of the Swiss National League A on Friday.
Roy was one of the final cuts in Washington Capitals training camp earlier this week.
He joins Sean Bergenheim, who agreed to a three-year deal with the club Wednesday.
Roy collected 12 goals and 20 assists in 72 games split between the Nashville Predators and the Edmonton Oilers last season.
