Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand won't receive supplemental discipline for his hit on Florida Panthers defenseman Dmitry Kulikov, reports CSN New England's Joe Haggerty.
Kulikov reportedly suffered a broken nose after being driven into the dasher by Marchand late in Friday's game.
Marchand was given a five-minute boarding major and a game misconduct.
"I just saw the replay and he was a little off-balanced and I just pushed him," Marchand told reporters afterward, according to Haggerty.
"It's not like I buried him hard, or anything like that. It's unfortunate, obviously ... I didn’t mean to bury him from behind. Things happen quickly."
