VIDEO: Linesman picks up assist on Desharnais' game-winning goal
The Montreal Canadiens continue to get the bounces early this season.
Tied 1-1 with the New York Islanders in the third period Wednesday, Nathan Beaulieu's stretch pass down the left wing for Tomas Fleischmann was out of his reach. But the puck hit the linesman, and Fleischmann picked it up in stride on a 2-on-1 break.
Fleischmann waited out a diving Nick Leddy before setting up David Desharnais, who made no mistake against Jaroslav Halak.

The goal turned out to be the game-winner, as Montreal added two more, including an empty netter.
The win is the Canadiens' 12th of the season, as goaltender Mike Condon remains undefeated in regulation, improving to 5-0-1. He stopped 17 of 18 shots.
The Islanders drop to 7-4-3, having lost four of five.
