Daniel Sedin thinks it's time for Canucks to panic
Daniel Sedin doesn't want to alarm you, but he believes it's time for the Vancouver Canucks to enter "panic mode."
Tied for fourth in the NHL in scoring with 29 points, Sedin spoke to the media after practice Friday, hours after his team dropped its fourth in a row, a 4-2 decision to the Dallas Stars.

The Canucks now sit at 9-10-8, fourth in the Pacific and out of playoff position.
"We're below .500 and we should be in panic mode for sure," Sedin said. "(Saturday) is a big test; we need to get going."
Vancouver hosts a hot Boston team Saturday night. The Bruins are 7-2-1 in their last 10. And the key for the Canucks in getting back in the win column will be secondary scoring. The problem is, they're not getting any.

After Daniel and Henrik Sedin, the production drops off considerably. Jannik Hansen is third on the team in scoring with eight goals and eight assists in 27 games. Radim Vrbata has six goals, but only three in his last 14 games. Alex Burrows has five goals, but has only found the back of the net twice in his last 15 games. Nineteen-year-old rookie Jared McCann has six goals, but only one since November began.
As great as the Sedins have played, they need some help.
Ryan Miller lost his third straight decision Thursday night, and he's struggled after a hot start to the season. He's 0-9-6 in 15 losses with a .892 save percentage. When he's bad, the Canucks don't have a chance.
One way or another, Vancouver needs to get going.
