Bernier records shutout vs. Kings in 1st win of the season
It's been a long time coming but Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Jonathan Bernier finally has his first win of the season.
The Maple Leafs netminder - who has come under heavy fire lately - turned away all 26 shots thrown his way as Toronto trounced the Los Angeles Kings 5-0 Saturday.

The win was Bernier's first since April 10, and his first shutout in nearly a year dating back to Dec. 23, 2014.

Forwards Michael Grabner and Leo Komarov led the way offensively for the Maple Leafs. Grabner matched his entire season's output by notching two goals and two helpers. Meanwhile, Komarov collected two goals to push his team lead in the category to three with his 12th and 13th, also adding an assist on Grabner's second of the game.

Rookie forward Byron Froese collected the first goal of his career with just over 2:30 left in regulation, cleaning up a Brad Boyes rebound.
Jhonas Enroth had a forgettable night, allowing five goals on 34 shots. The Kings have now dropped three of their past four, while the Maple Leafs improve to 3-0-2 in their past five.
