Dan Girardi's as tough as they come.
The New York Rangers defenseman hasn't played since Dec. 12 due to a knee injury, and he revealed Sunday that he's dealing with a small crack in his kneecap, according to The Record's Andrew Gross.
Girardi's knee is still sore, but the good news is he can't hurt it any further. And that means he's going to play.
Girardi has two goals and seven assists in 31 games, and averages over 20 minutes a night on the blue line.
Kevin Klein's been dealing with an oblique injury that's kept him out of the lineup all month. He has three goals and three assists and has also averaged over 20 minutes a night in 25 games
