Watch: Zaza skies atrocious penalty effort, gets roasted online
What a wally.
Simone Zaza's penalty wasn't just the worst of seven misses in a riveting penalty shootout between Germany and Italy on Saturday, the ball put itself into a hat somewhere in the stratosphere for one of the all-time worst seen at a major tournament.
True, Graziano Pelle's was a dribbler, but Zaza's footwork - reminiscent of a toddler who needs the toilet - will see his effort put into the history books for all the wrong reasons.
Germany triumphed 6-5 on spot kicks to book a semi-final spot with either host France or Iceland next Thursday.
Forget where the pen ended up...what was that run up about?!
