Mauro Camoranesi is making his first stride into management, as the former Juventus and Italy man has been appointed by Argentine Primera Division outfit Club Atletico Tigre.
The 39-year-old is set to sign a deal for 18 months with the Matadores.
Camoranesi made his name as a ponytailed winger terrorising Serie A left-backs in the black and white stripes of the Old Lady, but hung up his boots in 2014 after two years with Argentinian giant Racing Club in Buenos Aires. Despite being born in Tandil, Argentina, Camoranesi wore the blue of the Azzurri through the Italian citizenship of a great-grandparent.
He will take his place in the Tigre technical area for the first time in a competitive outing in February.
