Oshie hates Blue Jackets' cannon - except when it's fired for Team USA

T.J. Oshie is willing to embrace the eardrum-shattering cannon at Nationwide Arena, if only for one night.
The Washington Capitals winger jokingly called the Columbus Blue Jackets' celebratory shtick "the worst thing in hockey" Friday, according to Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch.
Oshie added, "It almost gives you a concussion every time, especially if you've had concussions in the past. It's annoying. I hate it. I hate playing in this building."
When he learned the cannon will sound for Team USA goals in Friday's pre-tournament clash with Canada, though, he was suddenly willing to make an exception.
"I love it, then," Oshie said with a smile. "I changed my mind. Just for tonight."
