The BBC confirms that a fractured vertebrae will keep Brazil's star forward out of his country's remaining matches.
Nearing the end of Brazil's quarterfinal victory over Colombia, Neymar was kneed in the back by defender Juan Zuniga. After being stretchered off the pitch in tears, he was taken to hospital in Fortaleza, where presumably, tests revealed a fractured vertebrae.
