LONDON - Lleyton Hewitt has been given a wild-card entry to play in the doubles tournament at Wimbledon.
The All England Club says the 2002 singles champion from Australia will play with Jordan Thompson at the tournament.
Hewitt said he was retiring from tennis after this year's Australian Open, but he played doubles for Australia in the Davis Cup in March.
Daniela Hantuchova, a 2002 Wimbledon quarterfinalist, was given a wild-card entry for the women's singles and doubles tournaments.
