Rafael Nadal returns to Spain's Davis Cup team

MADRID - Rafael Nadal is back with Spain's Davis Cup team for the World Group playoff against India.
Nadal on Tuesday was named for the Sept. 16-18 tie in New Delhi, along with David Ferrer, Feliciano Lopez and Marc Lopez.
The 14-time Grand Slam winner missed the previous tie against Romania because of a wrist injury that also kept him from playing at Wimbledon and forced his retirement at Roland Garros.
The fifth-ranked Nadal has won 22 straight Davis Cup matches.
He was eliminated by Frenchman Lucas Pouille in the fourth round of the U.S. Open, and reached the semifinals of the Olympic tournament in Rio de Janeiro.
Ferrer will also be playing singles for Spain, which has Feliciano Lopez and March Lopez in the doubles.
