Ferrer shocks No. 2 Zverev at Miami Open

Second-seeded Alexander Zverev was eliminated from the Miami Open with a 2-6, 7-5, 6-3 loss to David Ferrer in the Round of 64.

Zverev struck nine aces in the match but also committed 12 double faults to just two for Ferrer.
Ferrer will now advance to the third round and face American Frances Tiafoe.
The 36-year-old Ferrer is playing in his final Miami Open. He announced in 2018 he will retire following the Madrid Open in May.
