Kyrgios not sorry for aiming ball at Nadal: 'Why would I apologize?'
Nick Kyrgios doesn't regret his antics in his second-round loss to Rafael Nadal at Wimbledon.
Locked at four games apiece in the third set Thursday, Kyrgios hit a vicious forehand directly at Nadal, who just managed to deflect the ball with his racket. The Spanish star was visibly miffed after the incident but Kyrgios offered no on-court apology.

In his post-match presser, Kyrgios voiced no remorse.
"Why would I apologize? I mean, dude's got how many slams? How much money in the bank account? I think he can take a ball to the chest, bro," the divisive 24-year-old said. "Not going to apologize to him at all."
When asked if it was deliberate, he continued: "I actually was going for him, yeah. I wanted to hit him square in the chest. Lucky he's got decent hands."
The two have had a frosty relationship on the court since their first meeting in 2014 when Kyrgios, then 19, upset Nadal at Wimbledon in the round of 16. Kyrgios fueled the feud in May when he appeared on the "No Challenges Remaining" podcast and called Nadal "super salty" after defeats.
Nadal, meanwhile, didn't seem to be bothered by the lack of an apology but expressed concern for the safety of everyone else on the court.
"I know he's a big, talented player, but I am a professional player, too. I know when you hit this kind of ball, the ball can go anywhere," he said, according to ESPN's Rob Bartlett. "This time the ball went in, (it) almost hit me, no problem. I am professional, so I know how to avoid this.
"But another one, the ball goes straight to the back. So (could) have been (a) dangerous moment for the line umpire. That ball hits an eye or something like this, (it) is a problem. That's it."
Nadal will face French star Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the third round Saturday.
