Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer will meet at Wimbledon for the fourth time.
The long-time rivals locked themselves into a semifinal clash after Nadal eliminated American Sam Querrey in quarterfinal play on Wednesday. Federer defeated Kei Nishikori earlier in the day.
Nadal holds the all-time head-to-head edge over Federer with 24 wins to the Swiss star's 14, including a victory in their most recent meeting at the French Open semifinal in June. Federer has beaten Nadal in two of their three encounters at the All England Club, though Nadal won their most recent Wimbledon clash during the 2008 final.
The winner of their semifinal match will face either Novak Djokovic or Roberto Bautista Agut in the final.
