PHOTO: Rafael Nadal wearing $775,000 watch during French Open
While Andy Murray has been spotted this year wearing his new wedding ring on his shoe afraid that his play could be affected, it may seem odd that players would wear anything on their hand or wrists - especially if it was of any value.
Apparently not if you are Rafael Nadal, who has been sporting luxury watches crafted by Swiss watchmaker Richard Mille on the court since 2010. Nadal's newest watch boasts a value higher than most houses as reported by For The Win and Wall Street Journal's Tom Perrotta.
Nadal's watch pictured below is one of 50 total 'RM27-02's that were made with a number of features including weighing under 20 grams and being able to go underwater.
With a potential 10th French Open title on the line this week, Nadal will hope the watch also possesses some luck. There is a chance Nadal would face No. 1 Novak Djokovic in the quarters, No. 3 Andy Murray in the semis and No. 2 Roger Federer in the final.
