He underwent an initial procedure on his left foot last spring, and <a href="https://x.com/ShamsCharania/status/1892218603111428203">Charania</a> reports he's now scheduled to have season-ending foot surgery.</p><p>The Nets brought Bogdanovic back to Brooklyn from the New York Knicks as part of the <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nba/players/37879" href="https://thescore.com/nba/players/37879">Mikal Bridges</a> deal during the offseason. He entered the NBA with the Nets, playing just over two-and-a-half seasons with the club from 2014-17.</p><p>The 35-year-old played 57 games last year, split between the Knicks and Detroit Pistons. He averaged 15.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists while shooting 45.4% from the field and 39.8% from three.</p><p>Hayes, meanwhile, has been plying his trade in the G League with Brooklyn's affiliate, the Long Island Nets. He last played for the Pistons in 2023-24 when he averaged 6.9 points and 4.9 assists while shooting 41.3% from the field.</p><p>Martin has spent the entire season with Brooklyn, averaging 7.8 points in 36 games. </p>

<p>The Golden State Valkyries are signing 2024 Sixth Player of the Year Tiffany Hayes.</p><p>The Valkyries had been targeting Hayes for a while, but she was protected by the Las Vegas Aces during December's expansion draft, according to <a href="https://x.com/kendra__andrews/status/1887539348914249807">ESPN's Kendra Andrews</a>.</p><p>The UConn product averaged 9.5 points, 2.1 assists, and 2.8 rebounds while coming off the bench in 28 of her 33 games with the Aces last season.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>Valkyries head coach Natalie Nakase said she's excited to reconnect with the 35-year-old. Nakase was an Aces assistant last campaign.</p><p>"Having coached Tiffany last season in Las Vegas, I know firsthand the impact she brings both on and off the court," Nakase said, per <a href="https://x.com/CallieJLaw/status/1887548276490334537">Callie Fin of the Las Vegas Review-Journal</a>.</p><p>Hayes spent 10 seasons with the Atlanta Dream, who drafted her 14th overall in 2012. "Everybody can decide where you're going, even if you have a contract. ... We make a lot of money, and we can feed our families, but at the end of the day, if they say, 'You're not coming to work tomorrow, you're going over there,' they can decide that. They got to change that a little bit."</p><p>Schroder added, "I think everybody who's in here is blessed. But if you really think about it, it is kind of crazy that an organization can tell you, 'We want you to be team-first, but you're going over there.' It's a lot."</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>The 31-year-old is playing for his eighth team in 12 NBA seasons. The family was forced to celebrate Christmas on FaceTime, per Johnson.</p><p>Schroder, who owns professional team Basketball Lowen Braunschweig in Germany, acknowledged he understood the other side of the coin. "I got my own team in Germany. I know how it works," he said. "For me, it's a business at the end of the day."</p><p>"At the end of the day, your salary is still the same. You go to a different city, of course ... that's not a real problem. That's a luxury problem."</p><p>The German international is averaging 10.6 points and 4.4 assists in 18 games with Golden State.</p><p>He insists he wants to stay with the Warriors past the Feb. 6 trade deadline.</p><p>"When somebody welcomes you like they did to me, of course I want to stay here. I got a few more years until I want to go back to my team in Germany, so of course it would be great if I'm here."</p><p>The Warriors are 11th in the West with a 25-24 record. His 70-point outing in 2017 is tied for the 13th-highest mark in NBA history.</p><p>Booker is also the franchise leader in 3-pointers (1,360), and he sits third in free throws (3,370), fifth in assists (3,285), and seventh in minutes played (21,964).</p><p>The four-time All-Star has had another tremendous year with Phoenix, averaging 25.9 points, four rebounds, and 6.7 assists in 43 games entering Monday's contest.</p><p>Portland eventually prevailed 121-119 in overtime Monday.</p>

<p>The Golden State Warriors are determined to pair another superstar next to <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nba/players/148" href="https://thescore.com/nba/players/148">Steph Curry</a> ahead of the Feb. 6 trade deadline, <a href="https://x.com/ESPNNBA/status/1886480501323505940">ESPN's Shams Charania</a> told "The Pat McAfee Show" on Monday.</p><p>The Warriors have inquired about <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nba/players/72" href="https://thescore.com/nba/players/72">LeBron James</a>, <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nba/players/345" href="https://thescore.com/nba/players/345">Kevin Durant</a>, <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nba/players/1889" href="https://thescore.com/nba/players/1889">Paul George</a>, and <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nba/players/2809" href="https://thescore.com/nba/players/2809">Jimmy Butler</a>, among others, Charania added.</p><p>"You just name the All-Star player, the Warriors have probably called about them," Charania said.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>Butler has <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///news/3208149" href="https://thescore.com/news/3208149">reportedly</a> told the Warriors he'd be unwilling to sign an extension with them, stalling any potential deal.</p><p>The Marquette product apparently prefers to be traded to the Phoenix Suns. He's currently serving his third team-issued suspension.</p><p>James <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///news/3207770" href="https://thescore.com/news/3207770">reportedly</a> wants to remain with the Los Angeles Lakers. He's set to play alongside <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nba/players/68198" href="https://thescore.com/nba/players/68198">Luka Doncic</a>, who L.A. acquired from the Dallas Mavericks over the weekend.</p><p>The Warriors now sit in 11th after a hot start to the season. They're scheduled to host the Orlando Magic on Monday night.</p>

"I thought I'd spend my career here and I wanted so badly to bring you a championship."</p><p>Doncic landed with Dallas as part of a draft-day deal in 2018 after the Atlanta Hawks selected him third overall. He won the EuroLeague MVP with Real Madrid at 18 years old before heading to the NBA.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>Doncic became one of the most accomplished players in the Association over his seven-and-a-half years with the Mavs: He accumulated five All-NBA nods, made five All-Star Games, won the 2019 Rookie of the Year, captured the 2023-24 scoring title, and led the Mavericks to the 2024 NBA Finals.</p><p>"In good times and bad, from injuries to the NBA Finals, your support never changed. Thank you not only for sharing my joy in our best moments, but also for lifting me up when I needed it most," Doncic said.</p><p>In return for the All-NBA guard, Mavs general manager Nico Harrison acquired <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nba/players/11373" href="https://thescore.com/nba/players/11373">Anthony Davis</a> from the Lakers.</p><p>"When you get an All-NBA player who's also a first-team All-Defensive player, we think that's gonna help us where we need it the most, on the defensive end," Harrison <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///news/3207692" href="https://thescore.com/news/3207692">said</a> Sunday. </p><p>Harrison also confirmed that Doncic had not indicated any desire to leave Dallas. </p><p>Doncic has two seasons left on his contract, though he can opt out after 2025-26 and become an unrestricted free agent.</p><p>Meanwhile, Los Angeles Lakers star <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nba/players/72" href="https://thescore.com/nba/players/72">LeBron James</a>, who <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///news/3207770" href="https://thescore.com/news/3207770">reportedly</a> intends to remain in L.A. beyond the Feb. 6 trade deadline, bid farewell to Davis. She also accumulated the third-most assists in NCAA history with 1,144 helpers.</p><p>The two-time Naismith Player of the Year brought Iowa to back-to-back NCAA Tournament finals in 2023 and 2024. The Hawkeyes also won three Big Ten Tournaments and one Big Ten regular season title during Clark's time.</p><p>Clark has continued her success in the WNBA. After being drafted No. 1 overall in 2024 by the Indiana Fever, Clark proceeded to break the rookie scoring record (769 points) and was the near-unanimous Rookie of the Year.</p><p>Iowa's win over USC was only the second occasion an unranked squad has knocked off a top-five team this season. It's the first time the Hawkeyes have beaten a top-five team while being unranked since Feb. 8, 2001.</p><p>Iowa's <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///wcbk/players/97592" href="https://thescore.com/wcbk/players/97592">Lucy Olsen</a> scored a game-high 28 while USC star <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///wcbk/players/110970" href="https://thescore.com/wcbk/players/110970">JuJu Watkins</a> was held to 27 points on 22 shot attempts.</p><p>The Hawkeyes are 15-7 in their first season without Clark.</p>
